Hi, I'm Marco

“I’ve done a lot of trainings in my time, and there is something about this one that sticks.”
Without a question, this was the most time-intensive training I've done.
There were moments when I was kicking myself for agreeing to put our leadership team (and me!) though something with a daily commitment.
But that was also what made it so useful --
Adaptable and committed to results
About 3 weeks into the programme, I realised that while all of us were intensively thinking and communicating with MCK about improving our ability to “communicate and collaborate” — I wasn’t sure we were seeing actual results among the leadership team yet.
Why weren’t we talking about it as a team? In our meetings?
Very quickly, we were able to build in a few sessions to encourage additional engagement between us, discussion and exercises during our weekly leadership meeting, and I started to see some of the fruits of our labor in real-time.
Continued benefits
Now, months after the fact, I’m able to see some of the real benefits. The way that the leaders of our office see and talk about the people they manage with more empathy. The new opportunities that have come, based on new approaches to collaboration. Not only do we communicate and collaborate better as a leadership team, I now see improvements with how each manager communicates with their team.
I’ve done a lot of trainings in my time, and there is something about this one that sticks. And though we still have room for improvement, we continue to reap the benefits.
