Do you hate to *compromise*?

Do you hate the compromise?
Do you hate the compromise?

I read this line and wondered… does everyone hate to compromise?

Because whenever the word “compromise” comes up, I don’t get the impression that it’s usually accompanied by, “everyone won here” kind of sentiment.

It seems much more like, “a necessary evil” or, “just something we have to do / accept.”

Do you hate to compromise?

Or how do you think… how would you describe… the word, the action of compromise?

P.S. The inspiration for today’s QOD came from this piece. It’s interesting on a few different levels, also including, “What is fair?” Or, “How much ‘innovation’ is acceptable?”

Welcome to my other "gym" :)

Asking better questions is one of the keys to being a better communicator, making better decisions, and building and maintaining better relationships.

Just like a regular exercise practice keeps our bodies healthy and a regular reflection practice keeps our minds in shape too.

And when it comes to building (and maintaining) our capacity to ask the right questions… it’s not so different.

I advocate daily action in my work — and keep a daily practice in my own life.

Here are the questions that help keep my question-asking muscles in shape.
